Stanisława Dubois 29, Wrocław Overview
Stanisława Dubois 29 sits right in the heart of Wrocław’s Śródmieście, a spot that you’d think is too busy for a quiet night out, but trust me it’s surprisingly calm—especially after 10 pm when the city’s nightlife begins to wind down. I stumbled upon it while wandering through the cobbled lanes of Stary Rynek, and the building’s 1930s façade gave me that old‑world charm that feels like a breath of history. You know what? The lobby is surprisingly spacious for a 3‑star, with a little mural of the Oder River that looks like it was painted by a local artist. The staff are friendly—there’s a woman named Ania who greeted us like she knew us from the weekend market. She told us to head over to the nearby Targowisko – it’s the best place for fresh pierogi, and you’ll hear the vendors shouting prices in a mix of Polish and German dialects. That’s Wrocław for you.
The rooms themselves are clean, but not stuffy. I found the bed to be a solid 9 out of 10, with mattresses that have just the right amount of spring. The real gem is the view from the balcony on the third floor: you can see the cathedral’s spire and the tiny bicycle lanes winding through the city. The windows are a bit noisy during rush hour, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe request a room on a higher floor or a room that faces the quieter side of the street. The bathroom is a good size, and they actually provide a small selection of eco‑friendly toiletries—nice touch for the conscious traveler. The Wi‑Fi is spotty in the older part of the building, but the newer wing (where I stayed) gets a solid signal.
Parking is a pain, honestly. Wrocław’s streets are like a maze when you’re unfamiliar, and the nearest public parking is a 10‑minute walk away, but it’s a paid lot that fills up fast during the summer. If you’re driving, I’d suggest leaving the car at a nearby parking garage on Długa Street and taking the tram—lines 3, 4, and 6 are all within a block, and they’re usually less crowded in the evenings. Speaking of tram, the hotel’s just a hop away from the tram stop on Św. Jacka, so you can catch a direct line to the Wrocław Zoo or even the university campus for a quick coffee break. The check‑in process was quick but a bit formal; the front desk didn’t offer a bag drop, so you had to wait for the staff to bring your luggage to the room. It’s a small inconvenience, but it’s worth it for the overall vibe of the place.
The atmosphere inside is a mix of old meets new. There’s a tiny café in the lobby that serves espresso and a fresh croissant that tastes like you’re in Paris, but the walls are lined with photographs of Wrocław’s underground tunnels—little secrets that locals love to brag about. I love that the hotel’s staff will tell you about the best Polish bars in the area, like the one on Św. Skorupki Street, which has a great beer selection and a jukebox that plays classic Polish hits. The only downside I noticed was the room’s air conditioning; it’s a bit loud, especially on the first few nights, but they do have a small fan that helps. Overall, felt like a comfortable, practical choice for anyone wanting to soak up Wrocław’s culture without splurging on a 5‑star hotel. If you’re planning a trip in late spring or early fall, the city is lively but not overwhelmingly crowded, and the hotel’s location lets you walk to most major sights while still offering a peaceful night’s sleep.

It is a super spacious apartment, very bright and comfortable. Two nice bedrooms and a living room with a big TV. Beds were comfortable, there was some spare pillows and covers to use. Great location, 15min walk to the town center, 10 min walk to the nearest island with pubs and places to chill out.
But the best thing of it all was the coffee machine which I absolutely loved! Very, very kind of the owners that they have left some fresh beans for us to enjoy for our morning brew. Thank you very much!
We can't recommend this place highly enough 🙂Ivo from Netherlands (9/10)

The location of the appartment is very nice, very near the citycentre. We liked that it has 3 separate bedroom and its quite spacious, which was why we chose it. However, the street its on is very noisy even at night.
