I recently spent a weekend at Studzienna, tucked away on the 5th floor of a building at 13-16 on the street that’s been named after the old waterworks—studzienna means “well” in Polish, which feels fitting because the place really digs deep into Wrocław’s vibe. The day I arrived, the sky was that typical Wrocław gray, but the lobby’s warm wood panels and that big, polished brass clock made the whole place feel like a quiet, well-kept secret. Check‑in was fast, the staff were friendly but not overly chatty—just enough to say “Welcome” and hand you a keycard, no big ceremony, which I appreciated after a long train ride from Kraków. The front desk had a small map on the wall, and they casually pointed out that the nearest tram stop is just a two‑minute walk—perfect if you don’t want to get lost in the cobblestones.

The real charm is the room. It’s on the 5th floor, so you get a decent view of the city’s rooftops and that iconic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, though the glass walls let in a subtle hum of traffic from the street below. The bed is surprisingly comfortable; the mattress is medium‑firm and the linens feel like a soft blanket. I loved the little touches: a stack of Polish coffee mugs, a tiny jar of local honey, and a small bowl of fresh fruit that I could keep open all day. The bathroom is spacious, with a walk‑in shower that has a glass door—no shower curtain, no splashing. The scent of fresh soap and the feel of the ceramic tiles are surprisingly soothing after a day of wandering. If you’re a night owl, the noise is minimal, but if you’re staying during the summer, keep in mind that the building is close to the old market square, and the night markets can get lively—though the hotel’s windows are a bit far from the main square, so you won’t hear the bass as much as you might from a boutique on the street.

What makes this place a real winner is how it marries convenience with local flavor. Walking from the hotel, you hit the Krzyki district’s green spots, the small cafés that serve the best pierogi in the city, and the tiny art galleries tucked between old brick buildings. If you need parking, the building offers a paid underground garage—there’s a small fee, but it’s far more secure than the street parking around the market. The staff will let you know that the garage is a few steps down and that you can keep your car key in the lobby if you prefer. The hotel’s location means you’re only a short tram ride from the Wrocław Opera House, and if you’re looking for something more local, the “Karol Wojtyła” square is just a ten‑minute stroll away, where you can sip espresso and watch the world go by. Honestly, the real win is that the hotel feels like a local’s home, not a tourism brochure. I could stay there again, and if you’re planning a trip, I’d say this is the kind of place that turns a simple stay into a memory you’ll brag about for years.

  Pobyt był absolutnie WSPANIAŁY! Komfortowe mieszkanie ze wszystkim, czego tylko można potrzebować (np. płatków kosmetycznych, których zapomniałam spakować), w kuchni herbaty, kawa, słodkości, przyprawy, sosy i całe wyposażenie do gotowania, łóżko bardzo wygodne, przyjemna pościel. W mieszkaniu była komfortowa temperatura i świeże powietrze.
  Jak tylko będziemy mieć okazję ponownie się tam zatrzymamy!

  Ładnie urządzony apartament z pełnym wyposażeniem.
  Pierwszy raz spotkałem się z tym, żeby właściciele zadbali o tyle szczegółów. W mieszkaniu można się poczuć, jakby było naturalnym miejscem odpoczynku, już po kilku minutach pobytu.

  Это лучшее среди апартаментов, что можно найти во Вроцлаве. В апартаментах есть все и даже больше чем ожидаешь. Очень комфортно. Удобно во всех отношениях, начиная от парковки и заканчивая СЕМЬЮ сортами кофе и конфетами в виде приятных бонусов, которые вас ожидают в апартаментах. Сделано все как для себя.   Świetna lokalizacja, niedaleko centrum, blisko do komunikacji miejskiej. W okolicy liczne sklepy oraz targowisko. Możliwość bezpłatnego (w tygodniu po 17:00 oraz przez cały weekend) parkowania samochodu pod blokiem. Dużo miejsc, zero problemu.
  W pełni wyposażone, bardzo przestronne mieszkanie. Wygodne łóżko, kompletna kuchnia. Dostęp do mieszkania za pomocą aplikacji, dla osób mniej zorientowanych w korzystaniu z technologii możliwość odbioru kluczy bezpośrednio od właścicieli – co kto woli 🙂
