Świętego Antoniego 25 by Homeprime Overview

So I ended up staying at Świętego Antoniego 25 by Homeprime last month, and honestly, it was one of those finds that makes traveling so worthwhile. You know how some places just feel right from the moment you walk in? That was this spot. Located right in Stare Miasto, it’s literally steps from the Market Square but tucked enough off the main drag that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping above a nightclub. The address is pretty easy to find – just look for the little café called Jama on the corner of Świętego Antoniego and you’re basically there. I mean, getting lost in Wrocław’s old town isn’t exactly the worst thing, but it’s nice when your hotel doesn’t require a treasure hunt.

The room was surprisingly spacious for a three-star place, and I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses – I swear half the beds in Europe are either too soft or feel like medieval torture devices. Not here, though. The bed was solid, and I loved waking up to that faint smell of fresh bread from the bakery downstairs. There’s this little Polish woman who runs the front desk, Marta I think her name was, and she gave me the most genuine recommendations for lunch spots that you’d never find in any guidebook. She pointed me toward this phenomenal pierogi place on Kazimierza Wielkiego that was packed with locals – no tourists in sight. Check-in was smooth, though they only had one guy working the evening shift, which I could see getting backed up during busier times. Parking’s street only, so if you’re driving, good luck with that during market days when the whole area gets pretty jammed.

What really sold me on Świętego Antoniego 25 was how it balanced being in the heart of things without feeling chaotic. The windows faced an interior courtyard, so even though you’re in the middle of one of Wrocław’s busiest neighborhoods, it actually gets pretty quiet after about 10 PM. There’s a small lounge area downstairs where they serve decent coffee in the mornings – nothing fancy, but way better than whatever you’d get at the train station. I’d grab my laptop and camp out there for a few hours, especially since the Wi-Fi held up even when I was video calling back home. The neighborhood really comes alive in the evenings, though, and you can hear the faint hum of people enjoying dinner at the restaurants nearby, which somehow makes the whole experience feel more authentic than being in some soundproof hotel pod. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place that feels like it belongs in Wrocław rather than just existing in it, this is a solid bet.
