The kitchen’s got all the basics, and there’s this little balcony that overlooks a courtyard – not much of a view, but perfect for morning coffee when the neighborhood starts waking up. Actually, that’s one of my favorite memories from the trip – sitting out there around 8 AM, watching locals head to the little bakery on the corner (it’s called Piekarnia Świętojańska, and you should definitely grab their obwarzanki). The bed linens smelled fresh, which might seem minor, but after some sketchy Airbnb situations, it felt like a win.

Location-wise, Szczepin Spacious Apartment is solid if you want to experience Wrocław like a local without being isolated. Stare Miasto is gorgeous, obviously, but stepping just one block off the main drag puts you in these residential streets where people are doing their grocery shopping and kids are playing – there’s a small park right around the corner that I stumbled upon, perfect for an afternoon break. The only thing I’d mention is that parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, once I parked and walked everywhere, I didn’t miss having a car. Check-in was smooth, the host left clear instructions, and when I had a question about the washing machine (yes, there is one, and it works), they responded within an hour. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s not fancy, but it feels thoughtful, and sometimes that matters more than a polished lobby.
