Villa Art Novis Overview

Villa Art Novis is tucked into a quiet corner of Śródmieście, just a stone’s throw from the lively square at Księcia Józefa Poniatowskiego. I first spotted it when I was wandering past the old market stalls on Grodzka Street, the scent of fresh pierogi drifting from a nearby vendor. The building itself is a charming mix of modern touches and classic Polish brickwork, and the lobby feels like a small gallery more than a hotel entrance. The staff greet you with a warm smile and a quick, “Dzień dobry,” making you feel like a friend visiting rather than a tourist checking in. Check‑in is surprisingly swift; they hand you a card with a QR code that opens your room’s smart lock, so you can skip the front desk entirely if you’re in a rush.

The rooms are modest but comfortable, which fits the 3‑star rating without feeling cheap. The bed is big, and the sheets have a subtle linen scent that lingers even after you’ve had a shower. I was staying in Room 402, which has a small balcony overlooking a quiet alley where a few locals do their weekend brunch. The window looks out onto the cobblestones of the surrounding streets, and you can hear the muffled chatter of a café across the street, the clink of coffee cups, and the occasional honk of a tram. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but the shower has a good flow, and the scented soap is a nice touch. If you’re traveling light, the closet space is adequate, and there’s a small iron for last‑minute tweaks.

What really makes Villa Art Novis stand out is how it feels like a piece of the city rather than a separate bubble. Parking is a bit of a hassle—there’s a small lot in front of the building, but it fills up fast on weekends, so I ended up using the underground parking on Piłsudskiego Street, which is about a 5‑minute walk away. The noise level is pretty calm; the only thing that sometimes rouses you from your sleep are the late‑night deliveries or the occasional street performer on Sienkiewicza. If you’re a night owl, the hotel’s open‑air terrace is a great spot to watch the city lights. The breakfast buffet on Saturdays is a highlight—pancakes, fresh fruit, and a selection of local cheeses that you won’t find in a chain hotel. The staff is friendly enough to recommend the best spots on the market, and they’ll let you know which cafés are worth a visit just before closing time. All in all, Villa Art Novis offers a genuine slice of Wrocław life, with just enough modern convenience to make your stay hassle‑free and genuinely enjoyable.

Reviews of Villa Art Novis

  • Rebecca from Germany (9/10)

Really nice and clean room with everything which is required. Possible to open windows and curtains made the room dark. Cute building next to a school (still quite). Great to explore Nadodrze with locals around, but also 10min walk to church Island and 15min to City Center. Also a Tram in Front of the appartment which brings you e.g. to Main Station.

Villa Art Novis is an excellent choice for a stay in Wrocław – good value for money, a private car park at a reasonable fee, just 10 minutes walk from Tumski Bridge and all the sights. • Lusinesagh from Poland (9/10)

Big room, comfortable bed, has shower gels, earbuds and cotton pads. Also there is tea, instant coffee, kettle, water in bottles. Clean. Not noisy, one can hear only trams, but it is everywhere in Wrocław. Has Parking right next with closed gate. Fresh breakfast with lots of options.

  • Szabo from Romania (9/10)

The room was very clean and spacious for 2 people. Free water included is a big plus, also the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was also modern and well equipped. Tram is circulating in front of the building but it's acceptable, you can hear some but it's not that bad. Breakfast was also really good and varied enough.
