There’s this tiny bakery two doors down that opens at 7 AM – the smell of fresh bread would drift up through the stairwell, and I swear it was better than any hotel breakfast I’ve had. The location is fantastic if you’re into exploring on foot; you can be at the colorful Market Square in about eight minutes, but you’re far enough away that you don’t get the tourist crowds trampling past your window all day. Parking was a bit of a puzzle – there’s street parking, but I’d recommend asking ahead about spots, especially during the summer festivals when Vincent OldTown Apartments gets booked up with travelers who know what they’re doing. The Wi-Fi worked without a password dance, the shower pressure was solid, and there was even a little courtyard out back where I saw a couple having breakfast the next morning. Honestly, if I’m back in Wrocław – and I probably will be – this is exactly where I’d stay again.
