The kitchen’s got everything you’d need if you’re thinking of cooking instead of eating out every night – and trust me, with Wrocław’s food scene, you’ll probably want to save money where you can. There’s this little balcony that overlooks a quieter side street, so even though you’re in the city center, it gets pretty peaceful after about 10 PM. The neighborhood is actually really walkable – like, I’m talking three minutes to the Market Square, five to the Japanese Quarter, and there’s this great little bakery called Piekarnia Kawiarnia right around the corner that serves the most incredible sourdough bread. (Definitely grab breakfast there before you leave town.)

Now, I should mention a couple things – the check-in was a bit of a process since you’re dealing with a local host who wasn’t there when I arrived, so there was some back-and-forth messaging, but honestly, once I got in, it was smooth sailing. Parking’s tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, you don’t need a car here. The area gets busy during the day, especially in summer when all the tourists are out, but Wyspa Słodowa Apartment for 8 People is tucked away enough that you can actually sleep in when you want. The beds are comfortable, which after a long day of walking around Wrocław, you’ll appreciate.
